Clutch Replacement starting from £250

Signs that your Clutch needs replacing

Your car’s clutch is one of the most important components, giving you the ability to smoothly change gears. It can eventually wear out and will need to be replaced eventually. When your clutch starts to fail, you might notice changes in how it operates that serve as warning signs you'll soon need to get it replaced. Here are some common symptoms of when a clutch needs changing, and what you can do about them:

-Clutch slips or grinds while shifting gears.

-You start using your emergency brake more often.

-The engine surges at higher RPM ranges.

Worn Clutch Symptoms

The most common indicator of a worn-out clutch is slipping while accelerating. You might also feel the need to push down on the pedal harder than usual, or you could find it becoming more stiff or sticky.

Slipping Clutch

If your clutch doesn't work properly, it will slip when you try to accelerate. It might also slip if you're going up a hill or carrying heavy loads.

High Clutch Pedal

When your clutch starts to wear out, the distance between the pedal and the bottom of your car will increase.
